Abstract
The manufacturing industries have already used 3D CAD System. There are some examples that 3D shape data is not utilized effectively on product development process. These problems occur by two issues. First, 3D shape data is created inefficiently. Second, product development process that utilizes 3D shape data effectively is not constructed. We realized that product shape keeps materializing by progress on product development, and developed the E-Methodology. By applying the E-Methodology, 3D shape data is created effectively and is utilized effectively on the product development process. And it effects that development period is shorter and product quality is higher. This paper explains the E-Methodology.
