Abstract
In this paper, we focus on the suppression of load swing in a rotary crane system by using neuro-controller(NC). In our previous study, we succeeded in performing the simulation of suppressing the load swing in the rotary crane with system fluctuation by NC using bit-string genetic algorithm(BGA). However, this NC is still low generalization ability. Then, we try the study of NC for the rotary crane with system fluctuation using real-corded genetic algorithm(RGA). Simulation results show that RGA has higher control performance compared with BGA.
