2205 The engineering design education in personal fabrication era

Abstract

In recent years, personal fabrication by digital machines such as 3D printer and CNC router etc has attracted interest at the place of manufacturing. We suppose that personal fabrication is important for engineering design education in order to obtain design thinking. In this report, we describe and discuss the example of our practice for engineering design education considering personal fabrication.
