TMAC Design Workshop Training Seminar 2016 によるグローバル教育

抄録

Globalization in higher education is becoming increasingly important in Japan. This article elaborates on the groundwork to establish a moderate English communication skill among students, embedded with some relevant soft skills for the TMAC design workshop. The design workshop was held in the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia as a host university, in collaboration with the University of Tokushima, Japan as the participating institution. A global engineering design education is adapted in the present study through international student exchange between these universities. Therefore, several activities to achieve the desired objectives have been developed with the adoption of cooperative learning approach. Details on each activities are briefly discussed in this paper.
