This paper describes the uniqueness of plastic products and those factors based on Multispace Design Model to construct the design guideline that produce plastic products with the inherent value. On the first step, we sort several examples of plastic products that hold characteristics which cannot be maintained by other materials, and we list all the characters of those examples based on Multispace Design Model. Then, they are classified into 9 groups from these characters, and we further considered uniqueness of each group. Finally, we propose indicators that drive the uniqueness. Especially, the “Transparent” type has the uniqueness of transparent effect, and it is obtained by controlling the physical indicators such as spectral transmittance and specular reflectivity.
