There always be needs to establish efficient usage of large knowledge database to solve problems. TRIZ was invented by Genrikh Saulovich Altshuller in Soviet around 1980s. TRIZ is characterized by its classification of problems according to the contradiction of improving and worsening parameters and its Contradiction Matrix to find Invention Principles. However, TRIZ parameters are not mutually exclusive and some people may choose different parameter for same problems. Previous research shows a physical-quantity-based semistructured contradiction matrix to improve TRIZ system by using physical quantities as independent parameters and physical dimensional relationships to calculate similarity and search for similar problems. However, people may choose different physical quantity for same problem and the system can handle a problem only if it can be expressed by physical quantity. This research shows some potential solution for the problems of previous research and suggests more precise system.
