Abstract
This study is a development of new desiccant rotor using a natural meso-porous material called Wakkanai siliceous shale, for the low temperature regeneration. To enhance the water sorption amount of WSS contained paper, the impregnation using various concentration of the chloride solution (NaCl and MgCl_2) was examined. Water sorption ability easily depended on the chloride supporting amount in the WSS paper. In addition, three WSS rotors different in chloride supporting amount (1.9, 3.8 and 9,6 g/m^2) were prepared and evaluated. The result shows, the WSS rotor of 1.9 g/m^2 gave highest dehumidification amount of 10,1 g/kg_<DA> at 40 ℃ of the regeneration temperature, in spite of the least chloride amount.
