Abstract
In this research, vortex method is applied to lid-driven cavity flow to investigate accuracy of vortex method.Lid-driven cavity flow is a one of validation cases of numerical simulations.In lid-driven cavity flow, two types of surface panels were used to analyze the dependency of grid number density.Computations were undertaken for Re=100, and initial value of vortex particles were given by finite volume method.Results were compared with previous studies and finite volume method.No difference between two case of grid number density, but results have large difference with previous research and finite volume method at near region of moving wall.
