Abstract
Pressure Retarded Osmosis (PRO) is recently concerned to generate the power and to reduce the energy of RO system. The PRO power generation is based the osmotic pressure between the salt water and the fresh water that is about 7MPa. It is clear the condition to use the PRO in the RO system. The PRO power generation is closely relating to the permeation coefficient that is better over 0.6. The pressure ratio of the PRO and RO is recommended to 0.5. The concentration distribution is better to uniform in span direction. The uniform flow velocity is also need for the comfortable permeation.
