Wing-stroke type wind turbine generates electricity by stroking its blades, whose pitch angle changes periodically and passively, during stroke motion. With respect to the aerodynamic and mechanical characteristics of the wing-stoke turbine, there are many unsolved questions. A series of experiments on a small scale model have been conducted aiming to find operational condition which can obtain high efficiency of the turbine. Effects of pitch angle, stroke period and tip speed ratio of the blade on power and torque coefficients have been examined in this paper.
