Many of derailment accident occurred in the sharp curved track. Therefore, it is necessary to observe the vehicle derailment coefficient in sharp curved track in order to achieve safer railway transportation. In this study, a friction coefficient estimation method using applied force to the primary spring of railway bogie is numerically investigated.
