In order to examine the influence that the morphology of the micro scale of the ultra high-strength cement paste give to the distribution of the stress, we conduct a series of numerical material tests (NMTs) based on Homogenization Methods on its micro structure. We use the model made from picture of the ultra high-strength cement paste. We use result of a measurement by Nanoindentation for young's modulus of the model. The results indicate that, the void rather than the unhydrated cement in the microstructure have an influence on the concentration of stress at the around of hydration product. Therefore, we consider that the reduction of the void in the micro scale contributes to the improvement of strength of the macro scale.
