This paper focuses on the synchronization mechanism in mechanically coupled resonator system. The driving frequency response was doubled from low frequency cantilever (longer) to high frequency cantilever (shorter) measured by spectrum analyzer, which is contributed by a synchronized vibration. This synchronized vibration is believed to be related to a nonlinear characteristic of the coupled resonators, and the relation between the nonlinearity and the synchronization was further preliminarily studied via a theoretical approaching, which is used to clarify the effect of the coupling overhang on the synchronized vibration, i.e., vibration power, synchronized region, etc.
