Quenching and tempering conditions are discussed in the large size products of chromium-molybdenum steel.Hardenability of steels are affected by several conditions such as shape, size, surface condition and chemical composition of products. Particularly, in large size products, the hardness in the center part is not sufficient compare with that of around surface.
