The aim of this study is to develop an educational FA model in order to help students understand sequence control. The FA model incorporates PLC and SCADA through the Ethernet so as to show the latest sequence control and how to make rudder programs and SCADA projects. An evaluation of the Basic FA by student questionnaire was high, even though they were not able to understand completely the relationship between the ladder diagram and wiring.
