Absorption heat pump (AHP) is an effective technology for upgrading exhausted heat at temperature lower than 100 °C. In the present study, a potential of a stable LiBr crystal fine particle slurry under supersaturation state was investigated experimentally. The slurry shows a sufficient fluidity, significant absorption rate and high temperature. Experimental investigation was carried out to study the effectiveness of fine particle slurry for advancement of absorption performance in LiBr/H2O pairs absorption heat pump toward a goal to generate a higher temperature from exhaust heat. The present study shows that LiBr crystal concentration, zeolite concentration, and water temperature affect the absorption process. This study provides a further contribution that LiBr-zeolite pairs absorption systems have a potential ability to regenerate thermal energy from waste heat.
