Recently, an ultra-compact piezoelectric micro-blower has been developed to use for general purpose. The example of application includes a cooling of electronic device using the forced convection heat transfer. In this report, piezoelectric micro-blowers are controlled by a microcomputer to force a vibration. The basic characteristics such as frequency and PWM performances have been studied to control the blower. The flow rate exhausted through the blower was estimated by using the velocity obtained from a MEMS flow sensor. A three-terminal regulator is introduced as the example of heated electronic device. The temperature on the surface of device was measured by a radiation thermometer. It was confirmed that the temperature on device can be apparently controlled by the flow from the blower.
