Abstract

Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is well known as one of the energy harvesters. Energy consumption of TENG should be needed to improve to be widely used as the harvester for more applications. In this study, we studied the improvement of energy consumption using TENG made by porous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with ionic liquid (IL). Porous PVDF was made by mixing hydrofluorocarbon solvent with PVDF and evaporating the hydrofluorocarbon solvent during curing. As the results, when the ionic liquid concentration was 20 ppm, the output doubled when added at 30% vertrel concentration.
