In recent years, a wall thickness of the tube is getting thin in order to make the weight lighter. Particularly, attention is paid to butted tube manufacturing. This paper describes a simulation of butted tube manufacturing, which is coupled thermally and mechanically, with Elasto-Plastic Finite Element Method. And then we obtained thermal distribution under the process, residual stress after the process and thermal change, which is difficult for us to obtain by experimental technique.
