In wire drawing, die approach shapes influence cause of crack and fracture in the center of wire, and more effect material property of wire in after drawing. Earlier study, for A (Angle)-die, presented crack condition in the center of wire from die-wire contact length ratio in drawing. In this study, Mainly A (Angle)-die and R (Radius)-die were adapted to die approach shapes, simulated wire drawing. As the result, drawing stress is reduced by A (Angle)-die, tensile residual stress on the surface of wire is reduced by R (Radius)-die.
