Numerical simulations of the dynamic behavior of fiber-like substance in homogeneous shear flow are carried out by using modified SHAKE algorithm in order to consider the flexibility of the substance. The fiber-like substance is modeled by arrays of spheres that are aligned and bonded to adjacent one. The strength of bonding, or flexibility of the beads model, is defined by two parameters of bond length tolerance and restricted angle constants. The results show that a rigid and flexible substance can be expressed by changing the restricted conditions of an angle. Moreover, it turns out that there is a suitable range in the restricted conditions of an angle.
