Functionally Graded Materials (FGM) have been developed as the material which can stand at high temperatures. FGM is a nonhomogeneous material and information about distribution of mechanical properties is demanded to evaluate its heat resistance. So we develop a new method to measure electrical and mechanical properties using an electromagnetic force. Then a method to measure electrical conductivity and modulus of elasticity simultaneously is investigated by detecting electric potential and displacement at electromagnetic induction for homogeneous material. This report describes a comparison between analyses of electromagnetic induction and elastic deformation and experiment of those.
