線材作製における単鋳造輪キャスターの試作

This study developed a single casting wheel caster equipped with rotating side-dam plates for wire rods. The purpose of development of this caster was to make cross sectional area of the bar smaller than 180mm². Three kinds of coatings on rotating side-dam plates were tested. First, BN sprayed insulator sheet was attached on surface of rotating side-dam plates. Second, BN sprayed paper was attached. Third, BN was sprayed on surface of rotating side-dam plates. This caster equipped with the rotating side-dam plate coated by second and third enabled to cast bar, which cross sectional area was smaller than 180mm².
