Development of a Personal Mobility Vehicle for All Terrain in Daily Activity

Abstract

This paper describes a personal mobility vehicle, RT-Mover PType WA, which can move on rough terrain including a few step-stairs. The concept of the series and their development history are introduced. The Cybathlon is also introduced and its performance in the competition is shown in this paper, since the performance of the vehicle was evaluated in public through Cybathlon, 2016.
