Droplet deposited on porous medium is numerically investigated. In order to improve the numerical stability at the high density ratio two-phase flows, the pressure evolution lattice Boltzmann method is employed. It is confirmed that a droplet infiltrates into / remains on the porous medium depending on the wettability. Moreover, the droplet infiltration occurs at each unit cell intermittently. This results in the stepwise change of the infiltrated droplet volume.
