抄録
This paper describer a novel spherical monowheel mobile system. This system contains all elements (controller, driving mechanism, sensor and energy source) inside the spherical body. Two attitude sensors are equiped and two wheels with free rollers drives the spherical body. Computer simulations are done for confirming system characteristics. We also construct a prototype system and attempt basic experiment using it. It was confirmed experimentally that the new robot has maneuverability.
