This paper is described about the exhaust valve opening ability when an electromagnetic drive valve is applied to the ICE. The PWM signal of the high voltage is sent to the electromagnetic coil, and a valve opens and closes. A valve didn't open as much as a lift grew high as much as pressure was high. A valve didn't open in 0.14MPa, though it opened to 0.12MPa. Though it could be applied to the engine without turbo-charger, it was shown that it was difficult in the application to engine with it
