The purpose of this study is to develop a useful driving simulator for the evaluation of manual operation auxiliary devices, further evaluation of the adaptability of the manual operation auxiliary devices to the driver at the time of driving operation by using in vivo load and droving behavior. In this study, it was assumed that the right side of the body paralyzed, and the driving simulator having a left acceleration pedal and a steering grip to enable steering operation with one hand was developed by ourselves. The results show that experiment participants are not able to finely control the steering in accordance with the road surface situation with the left hand and to successfully adapt to the accelerator operation in the left foot. Results indicate that the experiment participants are not able to fully adapt to the manual operation auxiliary devices.
