In recent years, the length of continuous steel plate production lines has reached several kilometers. In this production lines, the steel plate is transported with contact guide system which consists of many rollers. However, contact between the steel plate and the roll causes problems such as distortion and deterioration of the surface quality of the steel plate. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid contact between the steel plate and the roll in order to produce a high quality product. So, we are proposing a magnetic guideway system with magnetic levitation technology for steel plate transport lines. In the past study, the static shape of the steel plate was calculated using multi body dynamics (MBD). We also investigated the free response when a disturbance based on the calculation of rest shape input. In this study, the vibration suppression performance of electromagnet for the guideway was investigated with MBD considering restoring characteristics obtained by electromagnetic field analysis. From the analysis results, it was found that the vibration of the disturbance can be suppressed by increasing the steady-state current.
