TiO₂/TiC光触媒ボールの作製と水分解の簡便計測セットアップ

In this study, TiO₂/TiC and TiO₂ photocatalyst balls were prepared by MCT and heat treatment in carbon powder or in air. TiO₂/TiC photocatalyst balls have photocatalytic activity under UV light and visible light irradiation. However, TiO₂ photocatalyst balls have photocatalytic activity only under UV light. A measuring the water splitting experimental setup was proposed. The set-up is very simple and can measure the volume of the generated gas from water splitting by photocatalysts. TiO₂/TiC photocatalyst balls have water splitting activity.
