We have formed an industrial study group for consumer-driven agriculture. The study group consisted of agricultural corporations and industrial corporations aiming at not only to improve the productivity for farmers of conventional vegetable farming in conventional plastic film greenhouses but also a new market for small to medium-sized industrial manufacturers. Applications of our production techniques and its niche market in Japan were discussed.
