As a model of triple jump player, linear spring and damper are used for the musculoskeletal system of the lower leg of the player, while a torsion spring and a damper are used for the muscular system acting on the knee joint and the ankle joint, and the whole lower limb is modeled by a four-bar linkage mechanism. For the model, simulation of three-step jumping is performed by mechanism simulation software and a method for designing numerical levels of influence factors (three spring constants and initial speed) that simultaneously satisfy the objective levels of two performances, flight distance and hop landing reaction force, is presented. Design example using the design method is shown.
