Abstract

In general, the life of the rolling bearing is obtained by using the fatigue life calculation formula of the rolling bearing. In this case, when receiving vibration from the outside, correction is performed by multiplying the vibration coefficient by the load coefficient, the coefficients are defined only in three rough classifications and the designer can not calculate the life accurately. Therefore, in this research, the bearing fatigue life in the case where the bearing receives external vibration in the axial direction. Consequently, the vibration acceleration tended to increase as approaching the end of the test, and the value of the vibration acceleration increased as the value of the excitation frequency increased. Then, the surface of the test bearings was observed, but no abnormality was found in all the test bearings.
