For transportation of goods to Kyoto, wheel stone was constructed on 3 road route in 1600 's. This report deals with the outline of these three routes. It was investigated at 2 shrines, 2 elementary schools and junior high school along the wheel stone track way trace. As the results, shapes of the ditch section in wheel stone found on the Takeda and Toba route are a triangle. In case of Kei-shin route, it's the arc-shaped. On the Takeda and Toba route, it was not necessary to consider the car climbing friction, so it seems to be the reason of the difference of cross section between Takeda and Kei-shin routes. And from real field observation, long wheel stone compare with ordinal wheel stone length was introduced. And wheel gauge was wider round 300 mm from Kei-shin case, with reason of hill existence. Also, load was almost dead level plain, so it was possible to make the possible burden increase.
