手の3Dデータから上肢装具(スプリント)を製作する方法に関する研究

Our purpose is to construct upper extremity orthosis (U/E orthosis) design system applying digital technology such as 3D Printer, 3D CAD and finite element analysis (FEM). Among them, we aimed the acquisition of hand shape data and its finite element analysis of this research. First, we obtained hand shape data using the 3D scanner and making a 3D model data. 3D data was analyzed with ANSYS (Young's modulus: 0.91 GPa, Poisson's ratio: 0.49, Load: 9.675 kg ) setting the physical property value of polypropylene. As a result of FEM, when the thickness of the UE orthosis is 1.6 mm, the maximum deformation value was about 50 mm and equivalent stress was 90.8 MPa. On the other hand, deformation was about 6.34 mm and equivalent stress was 24.7 MPa on 5.0 mm of U/E orthosis. The equivalent stress acting on the 1.6 mm thick U/E orthosis is about three times larger than the yield stress (29 - 38 MPa) of polypropylene. In this research, we suggested that the possible utilization of FEM in order to construct the U/E orthosis design system using digital technology. For future research, it is necessary to compare FEM with physical load test.
