Toward to the utilization of hydrogen as an energy source, we researched the possible range of the gap sizes for numerical analysis in a rotary engine. We used analysis software “Fluent” and was performed for 0.01 mm to 0.09 mm. The possible range extended from 0.09 mm to 0.03 mm. We concluded that 0.03 mm was most ideal for our research as it provides us with a gap that could be analyzed.
