Attempts had been made to develop a rotating filter that could remove fine particles using the concentration reduction phenomenon due to branching. The filtering effect could not be exhibited for particles that were small compared to the thickness of the boundary layer developed on the suction hole. Therefore, in this report, a rotating filter was developed with a shape that hardly developed a boundary layer on the suction hole, and the filtering effect was verified using 0.4 mm an 0.2mm plastic particles.
