高回転トラクション／歯車試験機の製作

抄録

The high rotational speed traction drive /gear tester to investigate fundamental technology of power transmission for high speed electric motors for EVs and HVs has been designed and built. The tester achieves high speed operation of 50000 rpm without equipping special motors and measuring instruments with using increaser function of the test rollers. The input and the output motors are connected through a regenerative converter, therefore they can provide high power to the rollers /gears even though low input power. And this tester has dry sump lubrication system to prevent undesirable oil drag. Measured results of traction coefficient and power transmission efficiency agree with existing data and theory so that the tester operates accurately and its data is reliable.
