The forming technology of corrugated clad cups was investigated. Since deep-drawn products are used in a wide range of fields, it is necessary to improve the function of the cup itself. Corrugated cups have been attempted to be formed so that the side wall of the cup has a wavy shape. The test material is pure titanium JIS-type2 TP340. The sheet thickness is 0.5 mm. Two types of blanks were used with diameters of 80 mm and 85 mm. Deep drawing was performed at room temperature using a hydraulic press. It was possible to form a cup with a corrugated structure like the cross section of corrugated paper. In the cross section of the side wall of the clad cup, the constituent cups were in close contact. In the sheet thickness distribution, the increase in strain decreased from the inner cup to the outer cup. In addition, the thickness reduction was approximately 5 % at the corner where the thickness reduction was the largest. As for the material of the clad cup, improvement of the strength and corrosion resistance of the cup can be expected by combining different materials.
