Abstract

We considered what kind of mathematical science is necessary for the realization of autonomous driving. There are common tasks such as high-speed/precision image processing technology and machine learning technology where causality one is especially important at all levels. For level 3, it is effective to generate models that reproduce the accidents so far and to make accident avoidance technology using energy optimal control theory. For level 4, the mathematical science is important which maximizes the number of remote-controlled vehicles per person and for level 5, mathematical science is important which gives occupants a sense of security By blocking the vibration in the vibration region that affects the ride comfort.
