This study focused on fabrication and design to promote STEAM education and examined the topics taught in the technology and home economics technical fields in middle schools. The selected topic was a bridge contest utilizing 3DCAD software. The teaching process involved classes that added design to the learning elements of technology, engineering, mathematics, and science. By leveraging 3DCAD, the ease of making modifications was complemented by the ability to advance through a second round of design and production in a short amount of time, fulfilling the intended objectives.
