Flutter limits of sheets or webs handled between upper and lower walls are estimated by a method utilizing a series of mirror images of the vortex distribution (gap height/sheet length) the effect begins to appear on the flutter speed and the reduced frequency. It, however, is for below a gap ratio of about 0.3 simulating the sheet or web. The results show that for below unity o gap ratio (gap height/sheet or web drastic changes in the oscillation modes and the reduced frequencies occur.
