Numerical simulations are conducted for active control of sound in one-dimensional duct. Sound propagation phenomena are predicted by solving the wave equation. Also, adaptive filters for sound cancellation are determined by applying LMS algorithm. Discussions are done for adaptive FIR filters which take sound propagation into account.
