Prompt by the recent economical reasons and the progression of computational technique, numerical simulation has been a powerful toll to understand the manufacturing process in rubber and polymer industry. Valuable comparative evaluations with the experimental results were reported and the direct integration of the numerical simulation in manufacturing increases especially in the extrusion process. For several years, the authors have been concentrating the numerical research in this field by using Finite Element Method. This article reports industrial applications of the FEM based viscoelastic commercial code, POLYFLOW.
