Abstract
Installing a high-speed video camera in the dynamic meniscus force apparatus, an experimental system, by which the dynamic meniscus force and change of the meniscus shape can be measured synchronously, was developed. Using this apparatus, experiments of vibration transfer by liquid meniscus bridge were carried out, and the method by which the vibration response of a dynamic system and the change of the meniscus shape are synchronously measured was established. The radius of curvature of the liquid meniscus and the contact angle were obtained by an image processing. The dynamic characteristics of the radius of curvature of the meniscus and the contact angle were clarified and the validity of the theoretical analyses previously presented by the authors was discussed.
