The use of adhesive bonding to joint the structural parts enable designer to improve the design flexibility and cost performance. For the structure exposed to thermal environment, however, it is necessary to evaluate the strength of joints at elevated temperature. In this research, we consider an application of thermal resistant adhesive joints to die casting subjected heat cycle. Heat-resistant ceramic adhesives are used to bond the fitting joint, and joint strength under elevated temperature up to 900℃ are measured. The strength increase of temperature to 600℃ and decreased over 600℃.
