The environmental degradation of GFRP/stainless-steel adhesive joints exposed to high temperatures and high humidity was studied. After, adhesive joints were degraded, fatigue tests were carried out on the joints at room temperature. The results showed that short-term exposure to high temperature slightly in creased the fatigue strength of the adhesive joints. However, the joints' fatigue strengths degraded under high temperatures and high humidity decreased with increasing degradation time. It is clear that the effect of moisture on adhesive joints is very large. Furthermore, an evaluation method for degradation durability of adhesive joints was developed. The relationship between degradation temperature and degradation time was calculated. The retention ratio of fatigue strength on adhesive joints was evaluated using arrhenius plots.
