A Laser tracking system useful for measuring large structures and robots with high accuracy and wide-range measurement is required. To meet this requirement, we have developed two axes spherical motor type laser tracker, which gives the mirror of the tracking system three-dimensional motion. In this report, we introduce the design concept and the experimental results.
