A flight control system was developed and applied to a radio-control model airplane. The stability of the radio-control airplane was investigated by manual control flight. Therefore, wind tunnel test and flight simulation were not conducted in the development. Besides, electronically parts for radio-control airplanes on the market were used for the manufacturing the system hardware. As a result, the development cost is reduced drastically. This system has the disadvantage by using the parts on the market. However, the algorism of the control was improved and the high performance of the system was established. In this paper, the results of an observation flight using our flight control system are presented and the outline and the performance of this system are explained.
