Abstract
Micro-macro thermal stresses in multiply-connected region composed of functionally graded material with microstructures subjected to unaxisymmetric heating on the inner and outer surfaces are analyzed by Airy's stress function and Homogenization method. At first, the homogenized thermoelastic properties are obtained by the asymptotic homogenization approach and FEM. The macroscale thermoelastic problem in the FGM hollow cylinder with the homogenized thermoelastic properties are formulated by Airy's stress function method based on the assurance of the single-valuedness of displacement and rotation.
